During her life, Concetta had a passion for empowering people.
She provided support, guidance, and resources to those who exhibited initiative towards achievement through education, self growth and development with the hope that people would use it to elevate themselves.
We continue her legacy with the Empowerment Fund of Honolulu.
Where we aim to support visionaries in pursuing their dreams and turning them into reality.
Brandon met Concetta while serving as a board member for the Rotary Club of Honolulu. Their mutual desire to bring people together, shared values, and an interest in working toward a better future inevitably led to a close friendship. They had many long conversations about what the future could be. After her 2nd round of facing cancer, she asked Brandon to continue her legacy of giving. Over the next few years, they discussed the challenges of the world and the impact we could have. How beautiful life is. Upon her eventual passing, Brandon took action on an old promise, and the Empowerment Fund of Honolulu was created.
